Wir nutzen oft unsere schöne Lage ganz Nahe am Rhein und gehen gerne dort spazieren. Um es für die Kinder etwas spannender zu machen, sammeln wir manchmal Treibholz am Rheinufer.
Vor Kurzem ist uns ein richtiges Schätzchen in den Schoß gefallen. Fast hätten wir es liegen lassen, weil es so lang ist.
Doch wir entschlossen uns doch zum Abtransport. Ich bekam tatkräftige Unterstützung das Brett am Rhein entlang und durch den Wald bis zum Auto zu tragen. Es hat gerade so rein gepasst.
Daheim habe ich es erst einmal mit Essigreiniger sauber geschrubbt und von Algen und Dreck befreit. Da ich keine so lange Wand frei hatte entschied ich mich das Brett doch nicht als Regal zu nutzen, was meine erste Idee war, sondern als Bilderrahmen. Ich habe meine liebsten quadratischen Instagram-Bilder, die alle thematisch mit der Natur und „draußen“ zu tun haben – quer durch alle Jahreszeiten- , entwickeln lassen und mit doppelseitigen Klebestreifen auf dem Brett angebracht. Es steht nun an einem schmalen Stück Wand zwischen dem Türrahmen und dem Kachelofen und füllt diese Stelle perfekt aus. Ich bin ganz verliebt in meine neue fast kostenlose Wohnungsdeko aus einem alten Stück Treibholz.
