Winterliche Apfel-Walnuss-Sternchen

Sehen sie nicht bezaubernd aus? Diese Sternchen bestechen mit ihrer raffinierten Zusammenstellung. Äpfel, Walnuss, etwas Zimt und Zitrone. Fertig ist der perfekte Winter-Mix!

Am allerbesten schmecken sie mit selbstgemachtem Apfelmus. Aber wenn man eigentlich immer zu wenig Zeit hat, wie ich mit 4 Kindern, tut es auch gekauftes Apfelmus.

Aber zeitintensiv sind diese Plätzchen trotzdem. Auf jedes Sternchen muss schließlich Zuckerguss…

Toll finde ich bei diesem Rezept auch, dass mal Walnüsse und nicht immer nur Mandeln und Haselnüsse verarbeitet werden wie in den meisten Plätzchenrezepten.

Hier kommt das Rezept:

Winterliche Apfel-Walnuss-Sternchen

Für den Teig

  • 130 g Mehl
  • 1 TL Backpulver
  • 40 g Walnüsse (gemahlen)
  • 40 g Apfelmus
  • 50 g Zucker
  • 1 Pck. Vanillezucker
  • 0,5 Stück Zitronenabrieb
  • 1 Prise Salz
  • 1 TL Zimt
  • 1  Eigelb
  • 60 g Kalte Butter (in kleinen Stücken)
  • 2 EL Sahne (zum Bestreichen)

Für die Glasur

  • 150 g Puderzucker
  • 2-3 EL Zitronensaft
  • 20 g Walnüsse (gemahlen)

Sterne

  1. Mische Mehl, gemahlene Walnüsse und Backpulver.

  2. Füge die restlichen Zutaten für den Teig hinzu und verknete alles zu einem Teig.

  3. Wickle den Teig in Frischhaltefolie und stelle ihn 1 Stunde in den Kühlschrank.

  4. Heize den Backofen auf O/U 180 Grad vor.

  5. Rolle den Teig auf bemehlter Arbeitsfläche dünn (3mm) aus, stich kleine Sterne aus und gib diese auf ein mit Backpapier ausgelegtes Backblech.

  6. Bestreiche die Sterne mit Sahne, backe sie für ca. 11 Minuten bis sie leicht Farbe bekommen und lasse sie dann abkühlen.

Glasur

  1. Mische aus Puderzucker und Zitronensaft eine Glasur. Sie sollte leicht dickflüssig sein. Ist sie zu dünn, gib mehr Puderzucker dazu. Ist sie zu dick, gib noch etwas Zitronensaft hinzu.

  2. Verteile den Zuckerguss mit einem Teelöffel auf die Sterne.

  3. Gib auf die feuchte Glasur ein wenig gemahlene Walnüsse.
